According to the PDGA Player Statistics, at the end of the 2025 season (November 2025 update), there were a total of 661 players with a rating of 1000 and over. This number includes 520 MPO players and 141 players from the rest of the Professional divisions.
At the end of the 2025 DGPT season the highest rated player was Gannon Buhr at 1059 PDGA rating points. Buhr peaked at 1062, tying McBeth for the highest-rated PDGA player rating ever!
Highest rated FPO player at the end of the 2025 season was Kristin Lätt (996) followed by Missy Gannon (989).
During the 2025 season, Kristin Lätt peaked at 1003 PDGA player rating, that’s the highest-rated FPO player rating ever achieved! Kristin currently remains the ONLY FPO player ever to surpass the 1000 PDGA rating milestone.
Fun fact! Kristin Lätt spent a total of 11 months rated 1000 or above! The rest of the FPO field since the inception of the PDGA in 1976? 0, zip, zilch, nada.
In comparison, in 2021, there were a total of 440 players with a rating of 1000+ and in 2020, there were a total of 417 players with a rating of 1000+.
