What Putters Do Professional Disc Golfers Use?

Nathan Queen Throwing Putters

Innova Star Colt 3/4/-1/1 – Stable

First off, Nathan Queen bags two Innova Star plastic Colts for flippy to straight shots, one of them is fairly beat in and perfect for wooded shots. The other one is new, which will fly dead-straight. Check out the Innova Colt here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star Colt putter

Innova Star Stud 3/3/0/2 – Stable

To complement the Star plastic Colt, with a very similar feel, Nathan throws Innova Star platic Stud. It’s a little bit more stable, he usually throws it flat and it will go straight and has a little bit of fade at the end. Get yours here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star Stud putter

Innova Aviar X3 3/2/0/3 – Very overstable

Most overstable throwing putter in Nathan Queen’s bag, it will handle any headwind, even hard anhyzer angles. Super consistent disc, very reliable and great for upshots or even driving off the teepad. Check out the Aviar X3 here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star Aviar X3

Innova Star Sonic 1/2/-4/0 – Very understable

Gift from Garrett Gurthie, Nathan uses this for warming up or extremely tricky shots. It has tremendous amounts of glide just like frisbees do. Grab yours here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Garret Gurthie Star Sonic putter

Nathan Queen Midranges

Innova Mako3 – 5/4/0/0 – Understable

Nathan Queen uses two Mako3’s for hyzerflip shots, being flippy as they are, the Mako3 is a perfect disc to use in the woods where you need to carve the shots. Check out the Innova Mako3 here on InfiniteDiscs.com.Innova Champion Mako3 midrange

Innova Star Rancho Roc 4/4/0/3 – Overstable

The Innova Star Rancho Roc is a really consistent overstable midrange that Nathan Queen uses to throw, if you throw it out flat it will not flip over rather stay true and have a nice fade at the end. Grab yours here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star Rancho Roc

Innova Star Gator 5/2/0/3 – Very overstable

Nathan bags two Innova Star Gators. He uses the Star plastic because they beat in a little bit quicker than the champion plastic does. And he’s always liked the feel of Star plastic. The Innova Gators are very overstable midranges and won’t travel straight at all, it’ll just hyzer for the whole time and probably have a little skip at the end. Check out the Innova Gator here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Nathan Queen Fairway Drivers

Innova Star Sidewinder 9/5/-3/1 – Understable

Nathan Queen uses his Star plastic Innova Sidewinder for hyzerflip to turnover throws for the longest distances he needs and even for rollers, which he has been working on. Especially handy in the woods like all flippy discs. Check out the Innova Sidewinder here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Sidewinder fairway driver

Innova Star Leopard 6/5/-2/1 – Stable

One of Nathan Queen’s favorite discs for a long time and he thinks that this disc should be in everybody’s bag, the Innova Leopard. Your general neutral fairway driver. Throw it flat, it will stay and fly flat and have a little bit of fade at the end. Same goes for the anhyzer angle, it will hold the angle you put it on and hold that line for a long time. No matter what, he will always have a Leopard in his bag. Grab yours here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star Leopard fairway driver

Innova Star TL3 – 8/4/-1/1 – Stable

Nathan uses two Innova TL3’s, similar flight path to the Leopard, but a bit faster. These will pop-up from hyzer to flat and go straight for a long time with a decent amount of fade at the end. Check out the Innova TL3 here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star TL3 fairway driver

Innova Star Thunderbird 9/5/0/2 – Overstable

One of the more consistent nine speeds that Nathan’s got, he can throw these into the headwind and trust them to come back. It’s so reliable disc that Nathan bags 2 of them, just in case he needs to have a backup Thunderbird.
He can throw these to about 410-415 feet with a decent tailwind. Thunderbird’s glide will keep the disc going straight yet have a consistent finish at the end and still fly far. Check out the Innova Thunderbird here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star Thunderbird fairway driver

Innova Star Teebird 7/5/0/2 – Overstable

The Innova Star Teebird is more of a utility disc for Nathan Queen, he doesn’t throw it very often, just in certain situations, where he is not sure what to do. Get yours here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Discmania S-line FD3 – 9/4/0/3 – Overstable

Next up, is a pretty rare Discmania S-line Simon Lizotte’s “Two time European Champion” FD3, which was given to him by one of his fans. Probably Nathan’s favorite disc in his bag, because of the way he got it and the way he is able to throw it. Check out the Discmania FD3 here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Discmania C-line FD3

Innova Metal Flake Champion Firebird 9/3/0/4 – Very overstable

To back the FD3 up, Nathan has one Innova Metal Flake Champion plastic Firebird, which is very overstable extremely reliable in the headwind. Get yours here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Nathan Queen Distance Drivers

Innova Star Wraith 11/5/-1/3 – Overstable

Nathan Queen bags 4 Innova Star Wraiths, he uses them as long as there is too much headwind, he uses them to throw flex shots and even hyzerflips. You can do so many things with Innova Wraith’s, super easy to throw and comfortable in the hand. Check out the Innova Wraith here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Star Wraith distance driver

Innova Champion Glow Boss 13/5/0/3 – Overstable

Queen skipped the famous Innova Destroyers and went straight to Innova Boss. He uses the Innova Champion Glow Boss when there’s a bit too much wind to throw a Wraith, because Boss has a bit more stability and is more reliable in the headwind, in addition it will go about 20-30 feet farther than the Wraith. Grab yours here on InfiniteDiscs.com.

Innova Champion Glow Boss

Millennium Sirius Quasar 13/5/-1/4 – Very overstable

Last in the bag is Nathan Queen’s most stable distance driver in the bag, which is going to be the Millenium Sirius Quasar. Quasar is an extremely overstable distance driver and will handle all kinds of headwinds. Super consistent disc, will always fade for him and yet still goes a long way. Check out the Millenium Sirius Quasar here on InfiniteDiscs.com.
