New whip, who dis?
The #1 Disc Golfer in the World, Gannon Buhr, treated himself to a GMC SUV for Christmas!
The mid-sized SUV’s retail price is around ~$50,000.
Speaking of the 19-year-old “Iceman”.
Gannon Buhr’s new disc the “Glacier”!
The Glacier is a brand-new mold created by Buhr himself. By the looks of it, it appears to be a slightly overstable midrange.
Cale Leiviska addresses rumors
In the previous newsletter, I mentioned that many fans speculated Cale’s departure was due to not being offered the CEO role. However, Leiviska clarified that the CEO position was not the reason for his departure from Prodigy Discs, and he fully supports Will Schusterick as Prodigy’s new CEO.
Leiviska is a busy man!
Rumors claimed Thought Space Athletics went bankrupt and missed player payments
TSA responded: “We are NOT at risk of going bankrupt, but we experienced a significant setback when an international distributor’s large preorder was not paid for after manufacturing. This setback caused production delays for 2024…”

Who was the best MPO putter from C1X and C2?
The Disc Golf Pro Tour shared 2024 putting stats, but they lacked a key detail! The number of putts made and attempted for broader context. I went forward and added the total putts made and attempted stats from Statmando.
For example, Buhr, who is 4th on the C1X list, attempted 896 putts from C1X and made 814 of them. In comparison, Ulibarri, ranked 1st in C1X, attempted 480 putts and made 448.
Best MPO C1X putter – Paul Ulibarri
Paul Ulibarri is the 2024 season’s best MPO C1X putter on the DGPT, with an impressive 93.33% of putts made inside Circle 1 (excluding bullseye). He made 448 putts out of 480 attempts from the C1X.
Best MPO C2 putter – James Proctor
Proctor lead in Circle 2 putting, boasting an astonishing 38.66% make rate! Out of 344 attempts he made 133 of them.
Who was the BEST putter if we combine the two stats?
Ulibarri had the best make rate from C1X, but performed extremely poorly from the C2 if we compared his C2 percentage to the rest of the players.
Proctor was the best from C2 and 6th in the C1X stat.
Buhr was 4th in C1X and 5th in C2.
All good contenders for the title of the “Best MPO putter of the 2024 season”! But one player rises above the rest and that player’s name is Matt Bell. Bell was 3rd in the C1X stat with 464 makes out of 510 attempts and 2nd in C2 putting stat with 38.18% make rate, 113 makes out of 296 tries.
So, there you go! The BEST MPO putter of the 2024 season – MATT BELL
What putting putters do pro disc golfers use?

Over the years, I’ve been gathering data on the putting putters used by our beloved MPO and FPO disc golf players. So far, I’ve compiled a list of ~150 pro players, detailing their putting putters and preferred plastic types. However, as seasons change and players switch manufacturers, their putters often change too.
