According to the PDGA Player Statistics, in the 2022 season, there were a total of 447 players with a rating of 1000 and over. This number includes 372 MPO players and 75 players from MP40, MP50, MA1 and Junior divisions.
At the end of the year the highest rated player was Manabu Kajiyama at 1051 PDGA rating points, followed by Paul McBeth (1050) and Ricky Wysocki (1047). Highest rated FPO player was Kristin Tattar (988) followed by Ohn Scoggins (977).
Sadly, no FPO player has ever reached the 1000 PDGA rating milestone, at least not yet.
In comparison, in 2021, there were a total of 440 players with a rating of 1000+ and in 2020, there were a total of 417 players with a rating of 1000+.
