How Many Discs Do Professional Disc Golfers Carry?

Professional disc golfers typically carry upwards of 20-25 discs, but it is not uncommon to carry even more than that.

Professional disc golfers usually carry a large selection of discs with them when they play, especially during tournament rounds, as different discs are suited to different types of shots and various conditions.

In general, professional disc golfers will carry a variety of discs with different flight characteristics, such as distance drivers, fairway drivers, midrange discs and putters. They may also carry a selection of discs with different weights and rim profiles to fine-tune their shots.

It’s important to note that while professional disc golfers may carry a large number of discs, it’s not necessary for a beginner to do the same. As a beginner, you can start with just one disc and learn to throw it effectively before adding more to your selection.
