HOT TAKE OF THE YEAR!
The President of the Board of Directors for the PDGA Justin Menickelli should be FIRED on the spot! His “outbursts” are a disgrace to the sport.
I thought it was kind of a jerk move, honestly on behalf of Brodie.
People were not publicly roasting (Paige Pierce), but behind the scenes she got roasted pretty hard and I think she deserved it …
WHAT IS GOING ON?
The Paige Pierce saga:
Justin: “I thought Paige got roasted.”
Host: “Oh, so I didn’t see a lot of roasting, I saw a lot of positive…”
Justin: “Well, I didn’t see a lot of roasting, but I heard a lot of roasting. People were not publicly roasting her, but behind the scenes she got roasted pretty hard and I think she deserved it, honestly, because I think she was being disingenuous. I think her behavior was disingenuous and self-serving.

She acted as though she didn’t know ahead of time that there were 3 courses. Like she watched the video and she’s like (*imitating tone*) “Oh my gosh we’re playing 3 courses how am I supposed to prepare for 3 courses”, it’s like, did you just find that out today? That there were 3 courses? It’s been longer than that since she knew that there were 3 courses.
And by the way the OTB Open, that was like, what, 30 minutes away? Like, you’re right there, like. The Hawaii thing, it’s like whatever, you wanna go to Hawaii I don’t care, that didn’t.. and there were some.. well good on you, I’d like to go to Hawaii too.

This total self-serving behavior of hers, in my opinion, I thought it was totally self-serving. Do you know who picked the spot? Do you know who picked the venue? Do you know who picked California? It was not the board of directors, the women’s committee picked that spot, so like to say like, Paige acts like she speaks for all women, and you know some other women piled on, like (*imitating tone*) “how dare you”, it’s like look man, the board of directors and the majors committee recommended that the US women’s actually be somewhere else. But the women’s committee were like, hey, we want to have it in California, and here are the reasons why. And they were totally valid reasons why. The OTB is right next door, it’d be great for California, we haven’t had it in California, we rotate those events.. like the US Women’s rotate around.

How can WE as players take action?
Taking action is very simple, PDGA’s BOD Justin Menickelli was elected to the position, so next time the PDGA elections start, just do NOT vote for him … Simple as that.
For your information, annual PDGA elections take place each year from July 1 to July 31, with the elected candidates assuming office on September 1.
