Udiscbanor plans to play 220+ unique courses in 14 days?!
Swedish disc golf course collector Andreas Carlsson/Udiscbanor plans to play 220–240 different courses in 14 days in Finland! He currently has 2,394 unique courses played, ranking #1 in Europe for the most unique courses played and #6 worldwide (#5 on UDisc).
Andreas played ~190 courses in 14 days in Estonia last summer and he also played 160 courses in 10 days near Helsinki area in Finland… The dude is INSANE!

The Darkhorse aka Brodie Smith continues with Discraft!
Discraft: “The DarkHorse is back for another year and we are pumped be working with Foundation on Brodie Smith’s brand.”
Even though Brodie Smith was demoted from the Discraft’s “Elite Team” to the “Tour Team”, you can’t argue with the fact that the man sells tons of plastic!
Here’s a graph showcasing which players’ discs disc golfers have purchased over the past year. Brodie Smith ranks #13 on this list, ahead of Gannon Buhr, Jeremy Koling, Niklas Anttila, and many others.

Finnish pro disc golfers Eveliina Salonen and Niklas Anttila attended the 2024 Finnish Sports Gala! 
Both were nominated for the 2024 Finnish Sports Personality of the Year Award. Many local disc golf fans noticed them during the live broadcast and shared pictures.
Kristin Lätt featured in a Nike ad!
The #1 female disc golfer in the world, Kristin Lätt, continues to push the boundaries of sponsorships in disc golf. Most recently, Kristin was featured in a Nike ad. Promoting one of the “Womens Nike Swoosh Sports Bras”.

Ricky Wysocki’s Bitcoin Bonus update!
In case you forgot, Ricky Wysocki signed a 4 Year, $4 Million Contract with Dynamic Discs. The deal included an extra $250,000 signing bonus in Bitcoin, the first arrangement of its kind in disc golf’s history.
Ricky Wysocki recently retweeted this on his X account, hinting that he is still HODLing at least some of it! In theory, his initial $250,000 BTC bonus is now worth around $678,937.50, up 171.58% since January 2022.
52-Year-old JohnE McCray’s INSANE 17-UNDER ROUND!
On January 12, 2025, the 52-year-old disc golf legend JohnE McCray shot an INSANE 17 under par at the Estero Open X in the MP40 division during round 3. Unofficially a 1094-rated round!
If the rating stands, this would be the highest-rated round of McCray’s career. He has been a member of the PDGA since 1995!
There are now THREE 1075+ rated rounds in the list. Though the list I keep says MPO and A-tiers and above only, I do make exceptions for rounds such as this! The list can be found here – https://discgolffanatic.com/2025-disc-golf-highest-rated-rounds/
As of January 21st, there are 0 1000+ rated FPO rounds in the list, but don’t you worry about that, last season the FPO players recorded around ~270 1000+ rated rounds.
2025 DGPT season kickoff:

2025 DGPT season’s first event: Discraft Supreme Flight Open, Brooksville, FL, USA. From 28th February to 2nd March, 2025!
2025 Disc Golf Pro Tour Schedule
The 2025 season will feature a total of 25 events, including four Majors for both MPO and FPO divisions. SEVEN events will be held in Europe, including TWO Majors!
