Paul McBeth partners with Vessi Shoes for the 2025 season
Vessi Shoes is slowly but surely making its way into the disc golf shoe market. They’ve been sponsoring the two-time World Champion Isaac Robinson for a while now, but they’ve stepped up their game by sponsoring the GOAT of disc golf, also known as Paul McBeth.
Speaking of Paul, both McBeth and Ulibarri are now co-owners of Brixton disc golf, the officially licensed cards of the DGPT.
DGPT All-Star event 2025
The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) will host its annual All-Star event on Thursday, February 27th, at Olympus Disc Golf Course in Brooksville, Florida, one day before the official start of the 2025 season.
In addition, the DGPT announced that starting this year, the annual All-Star competition will now take place in the weeks following the DGPT Championship. This change will take effect immediately, resulting in two All-Star competitions this calendar year. One at the start of the DGPT season and another at its conclusion. The February event will feature All-Stars who qualified during the 2024 season, while the fall event will showcase those who qualify from the 2025 season.
“Weâre thrilled about the opportunities a fall All-Star competition brings for players, fans, and partners,” said Jeff Spring, DGPT CEO and Tour Director. “By hosting the All-Stars at the end of each season, we can more effectively celebrate the achievements of the yearâs top players, deliver an additional Disc Golf Network broadcast to the community before the holidays, and align the event with the release of our other End of Season awards.”

Dynamic Discs loosing foothold in Emporia State
Innova is partnering with the Emporia State University disc golf team as their official equipment sponsor for the 2025 season.
Emporia State University Disc Golf based in Emporia, Kansas, the historical home of Dynamic Discs and currently the major North American distributor for House of Discs, has left its connection to Dynamic Discs. Their new sponsor will be Innova Champion Discs.
Eric McCabe, head coach of the team said this on Instagram:
Jeremy Koling wins the Tour Down Under New Zealand Open
FYI! Jeremy Koling defeated Ezra Robinson in a playoff with an event average rating of 1052.
Playoff results according to Levi Stout, an MPO player who finished 8th:
This marks Ezra Robinson’s third consecutive second-place finish in the Tour Down Under event series in New Zealand. He also finished second at Egmonster and in TaupĆ.
Silva Saarinen signed a 4-year contract extension with MVP!
MVP Disc Sports really loves to sign people for years. Just recently they signed Jeremy Koling for FOUR years and now the Finnish FPO phenom Silva Saarinen.
Silva Saarinen is mostly known for her incredible putting, during the 2024 DGPT season she finished 3rd in C1X putting (83.01%) and 2nd in C2 putting (25.91%). I’d say she is the 2nd best FPO putter on the tour currently, first obviously being Ohn Scoggins.
Saarinen’s 2024 stats:
- $44,432 tournament prize money earned;
- 2 DGPT Elite Series victories;
- 3 DGPT Silver Series victories;
- 13th in DGPT World Standings;
- 2nd place at the European Open (Major);
- 4th place at the Champions Cup (Major);
- 11th place at the Pro World Championship (Major).
