GANNON BUHR MAKES HISTORY!
By winning the DGPT+ event Discraft Great Lakes Open and cashing in a whopping $12,500, Gannon Buhr has set a new PDGA record for the most money ever earned in a single season at $125,638!
The crazy part?! There’s still 4 DGPT events left to play… In addition, all four of these events have substantial payouts. Here are the payouts from the last time they were DGPT events:
2022 GMC: $12,000;
2023 MVP: $18,000;
2023 USDGC: $30,000;
2023 DGPT Championship: $40,000.
Keep in mind that these are the payouts from previous years, and it’s highly likely that this year’s payouts will be even higher. All-in-all, there’s still at least a whopping $100,000 up for grabs for whoever wins it all!
Furthermore, there’s a good chance that Gannon Buhr will be the first player ever to earn over $150,000 in tournament prize money and might even surpass the $200,000 milestone in a single season.
